Becoming a Member of St. Paul’s

We are very happy that you are interested in becoming a member of St. Paul’s Church. To become a member, please complete the form attached in PDF format and return it to the church office, 661 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. If you have questions, please contact the church office at (203) 259-3013.

Do plan on attending one of our New Member meetings, as well.

It is a great opportunity to meet with the vestry and clergy in an informal and relaxed atmosphere!

About being a member of St. Paul's.

Christians who receive communion regularly at St. Paul ’s and have their baptism recorded here are members of the parish. Voting members are those who further honor their Christian duty to be faithful stewards of their God-given resources by making identifiable financial contributions to the parish and by working for the spread of the Gospel of Christ. Voting members may vote in parish business meetings and hold office in the parish.

It's Spiritual, It's Practical

Knowing that everyone is truly blessed with gifts from God, and knowing from our own experience what a blessing it is to give back to God a portion of what God has given us, once a year we invite all members to make a non-binding financial pledge to St. Paul’s.

(Click here to download the Pledge Card and to
read how St. Paul's is budgeted.)

Often, new members ask for a guideline, and we invite you to begin your giving at 2% of your annual household income. Of course, not every household can afford that level, and others may well be able to contribute more, perhaps up to or even beyond the Biblical standard of 10%. Every contribution will be gratefully received and wisely used to further St. Paul ’s mission, to show forth Jesus Christ. We invite you to return the pledge card with this new member form.

Another way of sharing the Gospel of Christ is by participating in parish activities. We know from experience that newer members feel a deeper sense of belonging in the church by getting involved. Please take a few minutes to look over the accompanying “Avenues to Ministry at St. Paul’s” and either return that form or indicate below any church activities that you are interested in learning more about. Please note which person is interested in which activity.

AmeriCares is one of many 'Avenues to Ministry' supported by
St. Paul's parishioners.
