EVERY MEMBER CANVASS 2008
Thank you to all contributors!
...But we’re not quite there yet
At the Feb. 3 Annual Meeting, the 2008 Every Member Canvass team reported the results of our campaign to date. As of that date, we had 89% of the financial pledges needed to support the parish for 2008. These financial contributions along with your gifts of time and talent are crucial: they sustain St. Paul’s operations and all of the parish’s wonderful programs and ministries. But we’re not quite there yet.
We are looking forward to placing a poster in the Gathering Area in order to recognize by name and thank those parishioners who have returned a pledge card. The poster will include the latest pledge information and will be displayed starting March 1. The poster will list and thank all who have returned pledges. It will also summarize our 2008 Budget and the total of pledges received to date (total $ and % against goal). This will help us all track and celebrate success as we add new results every week to close that 10% gap.
The names of everyone who have pledged are/or will be on the poster. If you have pledged and your name is not listed, please let us know by calling the parish office, 259-3013, so that we can correct our records and include your name in the poster acknowledgements.
If you still haven’t gotten around to returning your pledge card and/or Avenues to Ministry form, this would be an excellent time to do so! Your help would be very timely and deeply appreciated as we work toward the goal and we will be delighted to add your name to the thank-you poster.
Extra pledge cards and forms are located on the tables at the entrances to church, and you may also make a pledge by calling the parish office, 259-3013, or by e-mail to our accounts manager, cathy.comstock@juno.com.
To everyone who has made a pledge for 2008, our thanks. Your commitment and faithfulness make St. Paul’s happen. To those who have not yet made a pledge, thanks in advance for acting quickly so we can celebrate achieving our goals for 2008.
