Benefit Concert: "Trinity in Action: Songs for Haiti"
The concert on January 24 was a huge success. About 400 people attended and over $7000 was raised for relief in Haiti.
Sincere thanks to everyone who attended and especially to our performers: The choirs of St. Paul's, St. Timothy's and Trinity Southport; and our very special guests Mystic Bowie; Jean-Claude Louisgene; Sahmuel; Eric Jacobsen and members of the The Knights Chamber Orchestra. Thank You to John Abdenour, Broc Hite and Alan Murchie, the choir directors of the Trinity in Motion parishes, for pulling this event together in no time at all.

Dear Friends of Haiti:

(1/27/10) Stephanie Campbell reports: No news from Haiti, we are trying to find out about the students we are sponsoring, but as of yet no word. Rev. Fernande is recovering in Montreal, I have been in email and phone contact with her and she has shared the horror that she witnessed. More to come...

(1/14/10) The news coming from Haiti following the January 12 earthquake is grim.

Please use the links below to access all of the information we have received thus far regarding this catastrophic event. We will of course post additional information as we receive it.

The Episcopal Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is destroyed, as is the Holy Trinity School complex.

We have learned that Rev. Fernande, Director of the Holy Trinity School, is unharmed. The Sisters of St. Margaret, who reside at the convent on the Cathedral grounds are all safe.

Now more than ever, we must unite together and immediately spring into action to come to the aid of this Haitian community, so devastated by this horrible disaster. In the meantime let's keep each other informed and of course keep the prayers flowing.
