Help Fill the Cart!
On the first Sunday of every month, Children and Youth Sunday, help us to fill the shopping cart! On Sunday, July 5, Bring in your canned goods and non-perishable items so that we can help feed those in need. Keep your items with you when you come into church and when the cart rolls down the aisle during announcements, you can add your donations. (If you are in the choir, you can put your donations in the cart on your way upstairs.)

Trinity in Motion 2009: save the date!
Saturday, September 19 is the date for this year’s Trinity In Motion walk. Eight- and three-mile walks will be available, culminating in a festive event with Haitian music, dancing, food, and a Haitian craft and art sale. Last year we raised more than $60,000 for the work of Holy Trinity School in Port-au-Prince. For more information look for the next issue of the Epistle, or call St. Paul's at 203-259-3013.
Building and Grounds Committee recruiting new members
If you have an interest in serving on St. Paul’s Building and Grounds Committee, please attend an organizational meeting at church on Thursday, July 16, at 7:00 p.m.
The need is great: St. Paul’s has fine facilities and grounds, but the infrastructure is aging and gets heavy use, and thus needs to be maintained. In recent years, just a couple of St. Paul’s members shouldered the responsibility of stewardship of our physical plant. A larger committee would spread the workload, introduce fresh perspectives and, importantly, enable experienced members of the committee to share their “local knowledge” with a new generation of committee members. No special experience or skills are required; if you enjoy working around your house you’ll enjoy working around this house.
If you have questions or would like further information, please contact Linc Craighead at 259-8451; Jake Fricker at 368-4953; or Charlie Rhudy at 255-5436.
